The manager hired a new secretary. One day while taking dictation, she noticed that the fly to his pants was open. While leaving the room, she courteously said, "By the Way, sir, did you know that your barracks door is open?"

He did not understand her remark and so he chose to ignore her comments.

Later, though, the manager happened to look down and noticed that his zipper was open. He called his new secretary into his office and said, "By the way, Miss Jones, when you saw my barracks door open, did you also notice the soldier standing at attention?"

"Why no, sir, all I saw was a little disabled veteran sitting on two duffel bags."
